Rabbit – Thuringer
I’m a good choice for a family who can’t decide between a rabbit and a German Shepherd. My yellow-brown coat with blue-black ticking and dark face and ears is reminiscent of the popular dog’s appearance—and I call Germany my homeland. Although I weigh only 8 to 10 pounds, I have a very stocky build and furry erect ears. My fur is silky and needs little grooming.
I have a calm temperament and am not aggressive, but that doesn’t mean I’m a layabout. I love to run and climb, making me a good children’s companion—I’m more of a playmate than a cuddler.
I’m a somewhat rare breed in America, but if you welcome me into your home, I’ll be a big part of the family for 8 to 10 years.
